Vintage Wool Tartan Plaid Blanket with Rope Fringe, 54" x 80"

A handsome vintage wool tartan blanket in classic hunter green, camel, deep red, and brown, finished with three inches of rope-like fringe along the ends. Though unlabeled, the weight, weave, and finishing are very much in the Pendleton tradition of American-made wool blankets.

Purchased in Massachusetts in the mid-1980s as an antique and stored ever since in a blanket chest, out of sunlight in a climate-controlled room. It remains in beautiful condition with no holes and very little wear. Overall size, including fringe, is 54 x 80 inches.
