Vintage "Nux Vomica" Ceramic Apothecary Jar with Lid — Gold Trim

A handsome vintage ceramic apothecary jar labeled "Nux Vomica," complete with its matching lid. Bright, shiny gold trim rings the lid and base, and a colorful botanical illustration of the source plant sits inside an ornate gold scrollwork frame.

The jar stands 7 1/2" tall with the lid and measures 3.5" in diameter. It is in excellent, unused condition, having been kept in a glass showcase as part of a larger apothecary and pharmacy bottle collection, and is marked vintage on the underside.
