Vintage Frosted Clear Rose Shank Buttons, 1 Inch - Set of 9

A set of nine vintage frosted clear rose shank buttons, each measuring 1 inch across. Molded in nylon/plastic during the late 1970s to early 1980s, these blooms show far crisper petal detail than the modern reproductions you'll find today, and the frosted finish gives them a soft, pearly glow against any fabric.

These come from the legendary Lauber Novelty Button Company collection, bought directly from the original manufacturer. Founded by Morris Sussal in the early 1960s, Lauber supplied and customized buttons for high-end garment makers out of a showroom in the NYC Garment Center until it closed in 2005. This inventory sat boxed away for roughly 40 years, so every button is unused new old stock.
