Vintage Apothecary Jar with Hand-Blown Bubble Stopper - 'Magnes Carb: Pond' Label

A handsome vintage glass apothecary jar with a recessed, gold-trimmed label reading "Magnes Carb: Pond"  The old pharmacy shorthand for Heavy Magnesium Carbonate. The original hand-blown bubble glass stopper is included, complete with the swirls and air bubbles that mark genuine period glass.

In excellent used condition with no chips or cracks; the gold trim on the label shows light wear consistent with its age. There is no maker's mark. The jar measures approximately 7 3/4" tall without the stopper and 3.5" in diameter, with a throat opening of about 2".

Straight out of more than 50 years in storage and still unwashed. We're happy to clean it before shipping if you'd prefer. A great display piece for a curiosity cabinet, bathroom shelf, or pharmacy glass collection.
