Vintage 1980s Clear Resin Shank Buttons with Yellow Rose - Set of 35

A rare set of 35 vintage 1980s shank buttons in clear nylon plastic-resin, each one holding a tiny yellow rose suspended inside. Smooth, glossy, and in mint unused condition, they measure approximately 7/8" across and 1/2" tall. Any glare in the photos is from the camera, not the buttons themselves.

These came from an extensive collection assembled by a premier wholesaler who supplied the New York City garment district beginning in the 1950s, and have been stored in button boxes in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room ever since. They do not appear anywhere else online, suggesting they were custom-produced for a garment manufacturer decades ago.
