Vintage 1980s Black Shank Button with Metallic USA Flag - Lot of 10

A lot of 10 vintage shank buttons from the 1980s, each featuring a metallic red, silver, and blue waving American flag set against a glossy black domed face. At a bold 1 5/8" across, these are statement buttons made for coats, blazers, and craft projects that need a patriotic pop.

These come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection, purchased directly from the original manufacturer. Founded in the 1960s by Morris Sussal and later run by his two sons out of a NYC Garment Center showroom until 2005, Lauber supplied custom and client-designed buttons to high-end makers. Every button in this deadstock hoard was manufactured before 1985.
