A lot of 20 vintage 1970s shank buttons, each about 3/4 inch across, featuring a clear Medusa-style face at the center encircled by a bright gold rim with filigree Greek key detailing. The Versace-inspired look gives these plastic buttons a rich, high-end presence that dresses up jackets, blazers, coats, and statement garments.

These come from the stock of a premier NYC button house founded in the 1940s by Morris Sussal, first as the Harlem-Adler Company and later as Lauber Novelty Button Company, which supplied high-end wholesale customers and well-known garment brands until closing in 2005. Stored in button boxes in a smoke-free home for roughly 40-50 years, they remain in mint, unused condition.
