Vintage 1950s Moss Rose Child's Tea Set - 30 Pieces, Made in Japan

A delightful 1950s child's tea set in the classic Moss Rose pattern, made in Japan and marked JAPAN on the underside of each piece. This generous 30-piece grouping includes 6 plates, 6 tea cups, 6 medium plates, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, a lidded teapot, an oval covered handled bowl, an oval serving platter, and salt and pepper shakers, plus a 4-piece utensil set made in Taiwan.

The soft pink rose sprays and delicate gold and silver trim have held up beautifully, with only very light wear to the metallic banding on a few pieces. Overall the set presents in very fine, excellent used condition, remarkable for a play set of this age.
