Versace Gold-Tone Medusa Starburst Shank Buttons, 7/8" - Set of 23

A set of 23 vintage Versace designer shank buttons in mint condition. Each 7/8" D-shank button is cast in a rich gold tone with the iconic Medusa head at its center, surrounded by a starburst of filigree detail and finished with a Roman/Greek key border. Photos show some glare and shadow — in person these buttons read as deeply, unmistakably gold.

These come from the original Harlem-Adler Button Company stock founded by Morris Susslar and family, kept for over 50 years in a smoke-free, climate-controlled storage room in their original button boxes. This is the very first time they have been offered for sale, exclusive to Dave's Discovery Den.

This listing covers 23 buttons out of a 40-piece grouping; the balance is offered separately and both lots will ship together if purchased. Sets are not broken up and stock is strictly limited.
