Versace Gold-Tone Medusa Starburst Shank Buttons, 7/8" - Set of 20

A set of 20 vintage Versace designer shank buttons in mint condition, each measuring 7/8 inch with a D-shank back. The gold-tone face features the iconic Medusa starburst head with a delicate filigree center, framed by a Roman/Greek key border. Photos show some glare and shadow, but in person these buttons are richly gold.

These come from the original Harlem-Adler Button Company, founded by Morris Susslar and family. For more than 50 years the collection has been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room, still in its original button boxes. This is the very first time they are being offered for sale, exclusively through Dave's Discovery Den.

Forty pieces exist in total, divided into two lots of 20; buy both and they ship together. Sets are not broken up and no additional quantities are available. Perfect for a couture sewing project, a jacket restoration, or a serious button collection. All sales are final.
