Mihai Topescu Vintage Hand Blown Art Glass Vase Bowl - Signed Romanian Artist, 1990s

A striking hand blown art glass vase/bowl by the celebrated Romanian glass artist Mihai Topescu, made in the 1990s and still carrying its original "Art Collection Mihai Topescu" label. The free-form, sculptural body flares into dramatic ruffled edges, making it as much a work of art as a functional vessel.

Colors sweep from vibrant yellow and orange through warm browns, with deep red and green murrine-style patterning visible on the underside. Substantial in scale at roughly 9" tall and 15.5" x 14" across, and weighing about 8.6 lbs, it commands attention on a console, mantel, or dining table.
