Harris Strong Framed Antelope Art Tile on Linen

A striking piece of mid-century American ceramic art, this Harris Strong tile features a stylized antelope rendered in glossy glaze with warm gold, brown, and green earth tones. The tile is mounted on linen matting and set in a light-toned wood frame, measuring roughly 10 3/4" square.

Harris Strong tiles are a favorite of modernist decor collectors, and this example still has its signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to the reverse. Hanging hardware is in place, so it's ready to go straight onto the wall.

Condition: the tile itself presents well, with slight discoloration to the linen mat and a tear in the paper backing on the back. Sold as-is.
