Antique Heavy Wool Jacquard Reversible Blanket - Rust Orange & Cream Suzani Floral

A striking antique-style heavy wool jacquard blanket in rich rust orange and warm cream, measuring approximately 57 1/2" x 77 1/2". Fully reversible, it features an all-over floral medallion pattern that reads beautifully from either side — one face bold and warm, the other softer and lighter.

The size, palette, and motif point to a 1970s Suzani-style wool blanket, likely of Moroccan or Central Asian ethnic origin. It was purchased in Massachusetts in the late 1980s as an already-vintage piece and has been carefully kept ever since in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home.

Condition is very good with no holes and only light wear consistent with gentle use. Lovely draped over a bed, sofa, or bench, or hung as a textile wall piece. Additional photos available on request; all sales are final.
