Vintage Yixing Frog on Lotus Teapot Set with 2 Cups & 4 Saucers in Original Silk Box

A charming vintage Chinese Yixing clay tea set in the beloved lotus-and-frog motif. The teapot is sculpted as a lotus pod with a little green frog perched atop the pierced lid, finished with a curving lotus-stem handle and spout, hand-carved leaf detailing and soft red accents. An impressed maker's seal appears on the base.

The set includes the teapot, two lotus-form cups with green handles, and four saucers/plates (one in lotus form). Everything arrives in the original brocade-covered presentation case with velvet lining, carry handle and clasp. The pieces are still bundled in their factory rubber bands and bubble wrap.

Mint and unused: never brewed in, and only removed from the box long enough to photograph. The box cover has one small stain, shown in the photos. A lovely display piece or gift for a tea lover or collector of Asian pottery.
