Vintage Versace-Style Gold Medusa Starburst Buttons, 5/8" D-Shank - Set of 15

A set of 15 vintage designer-style buttons in mint, never-used condition. Each 5/8" button features a gold-tone Medusa starburst head surrounded by delicate filigree and a classic Roman (Greek key) border, finished with a sturdy D-shank back. Photographs pick up glare and shadow, but in person these read as a rich, bright gold.

These come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company archive. Morris Susslar helped launch the original Harlem-Adler Button Company before founding Lauber, sourcing high-end buttons around the world for his clients. For more than 50 years the family kept these pieces boxed in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room. Circa 1970s, and offered for sale here for the very first time, exclusive to Dave's Discovery Den.

The full holding is 30 pieces, split into two listings of 15 - buy both and they ship together. Sets are not broken up and no additional stock exists.
