Vintage Rainbow 1/2" 2-Hole Buttons - Lot of 25 (Late 1970s-Early 1980s)

A lot of 25 vintage rainbow-striped 1/2" buttons dating to the late 1970s-early 1980s, sourced directly from the original manufacturer. Each two-hole button features a bright multicolor swirl of pink, orange, yellow and green over a solid back, most likely nylon rather than rubber.

These come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection. Founded in the 1960s by Morris Sussal, Lauber sold and customized buttons for high-end manufacturers from a showroom in the NYC garment center until the family closed the business in 2005. Everything in this collection was manufactured before 1985, with many pieces exclusive to us in very limited quantities.

A favorite with home crafters and jewelry makers for pendants, bracelets and earrings, as well as garment sewing and scrapbooking. Sold as a set of 25; once they're gone, there are no more.
