Vintage Rainbow 1/2" 2-Hole Buttons - Lot 2 (25 pcs, Late 1970s-80s)
A lot of 25 vintage rainbow multicolor buttons, each 1/2 inch across with a classic 2-hole design and a solid (most likely nylon) back. These are late 1970s to early 1980s deadstock, purchased directly from the original manufacturer and never used.
They come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company, founded in the 1960s by Morris Sussal, who earlier co-founded the Harlem Adler Button Company during WWII. His sons ran a showroom in the NYC garment center until 2005, supplying custom buttons to high-end manufacturers. Everything in this collection was made before 1985, with many pieces dating to the 1960s and 70s.
Perfect for sewing projects, or repurpose them into pendants, bracelets and earrings as many home crafters do. Sold in three lots of 25 pieces — this listing is Lot 2. Shipping can be combined on multiple purchases, and once these are gone there are no more.
