Vintage Green Lantern & Captain America Print Signed by Creator Mart Nodell (1999)

A genuine piece of comic book history: a vintage color print featuring the Golden Age Green Lantern alongside Captain America, hand-signed and inscribed in person by Mart (Martin) Nodell, the artist who created Green Lantern in 1940. The signature was obtained directly from Nodell in 1999 by a collector who met him on several occasions.

The print carries three separate handwritten inscriptions, including a personal note to "David," a reference to Nodell's work with Timely Comics on Captain America from 1948-1950, and his signature line as "Creator of Green Lantern '40." That combination of personalization and provenance makes this a genuinely one-of-a-kind display piece.

Condition is excellent, with only slight tiny creasing along the border edges that will be concealed once matted and framed, plus some light soiling on the back of the paper that does not show through the front. Stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment and packed carefully for safe arrival.
