Vintage Crystal Shrimp Cocktail Glasses with Glass Inserts - Set of 12

A handsome set of 12 vintage stemmed shrimp cocktail glasses, each paired with its own removable glass insert. The stems are crystal while the inserts are plain glass, in a simple undecorated style that dates them to roughly the 1920s through the 1950s. They're likely Monongahela Glass, though Cambridge and other makers produced similar forms.

To serve, pack the base glass with crushed ice and set the insert on top so shrimp cocktail, oysters, or chilled fruit stays perfectly cold from first bite to last. The glasses measure 4.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide with a 13 oz capacity; the inserts stand 2.5 inches tall with an opening of about 3 3/4 inches.
