Vintage Children's Tea Set Made in Japan with Original Box

A sweet little slice of mid-century play: this vintage four-piece children's tea set was made in Japan and still comes with its original teal illustrated box. The white porcelain pieces are hand-painted with a cheerful orange and red floral motif finished with blue trim.

The set includes a teapot, creamer, cup and saucer. Just the right scale for a doll's table or a decorative shelf display. The colors remain bright and the painting has that charming hand-done irregularity you only find on older Japanese export ware.
