Vintage Bishop & Stonier England Butter Pats - Set of 8

A charming set of eight vintage butter pats made in England by Bishop & Stonier, marked Imperial Ironstone. Each small plate measures about 3 inches across, with a delicately scalloped rim and a soft floral ivy transfer pattern in shades of green, blue, and tan finished with gold trim.

Butter pats like these were once a staple of formal table settings, and today they make wonderful little serving dishes for butter, jam, olives, or as ring and trinket catchers around the house. Displayed together, the set makes a pretty vignette on a shelf or plate rail.

Previously used and in fine condition overall, with light wear and patina to the gilt and glaze consistent with age. Sold as a complete set of eight.
