A truly extraordinary handmade textile from India, this 1990s silk-poly patchwork panel stretches an impressive 43 by 256 inches. Every section is pieced from sheer embroidered patches in soft, muted tones — gold, black, dusty rose, sage, gray and pale yellow — accented with stitched swirls, delicate floral embroidery and woven stripes.

The scale and craftsmanship make it wonderfully versatile: drape it as sari cloth, lay it down as an extra-long table runner for a holiday or wedding table, or hang it as a luminous wall tapestry where light can pass through the sheer patches.
