Vintage 1980s Gold-Plated Black Epoxy Flower Buttons - Lot of 10 (1 1/8")

A lot of ten vintage early 1980s shank buttons, each measuring 1 1/8" across. The gold-plated flower design is set off by glossy black epoxy inlay petals, giving these buttons a bold, high-contrast look that reads as both classic and dramatic.

These are true deadstock — never sewn, never used — acquired directly from the original manufacturer. They come from the legendary Lauber Novelty Button Company of the NYC garment center, founded by Morris Sussal in the 1960s after his earlier Harlem Adler Button Company. The family business supplied and customized buttons for high-end manufacturers until it closed in 2005, and every button in this collection was made before 1985.
