Vintage 1980s Black Shank Buttons with Metallic USA Flag - Lot of 10

A lot of 10 vintage deadstock shank buttons from the 1980s, each featuring a metallic red, silver, and blue USA flag design set on a glossy black dome. At a bold 1 5/8" across, they make a real statement on coats, blazers, or handmade garments.

These come from a rare deadstock collection purchased directly from the original manufacturer. Morris Sussal founded the Harlem Adler Button Company during WWII and later opened Lauber Novelty Button Company, supplying and customizing buttons for high-end makers. His sons ran a showroom in the NYC garment center until 2005, and boxes of stock had been stored away since the 1970s.

All buttons in this collection were manufactured before 1985, with many dating from the 1960s and 70s. Five lots are available; this listing is Lot 1 with 10 buttons. New old stock, never used.
