Vintage 1980s-90s Lauren Shank Buttons with Silver Shield Crest - Smokey Tan, 1/2 inch (50 pcs)

A lot of 50 vintage Lauren shank buttons in a warm smokey tan, each topped with an antiqued silver-tone shield and crest bearing an equestrian motif. Measuring about 1/2 inch across with a gently domed face, these were originally destined for men's shirts and light jackets.

These buttons come from a premier New York City button house founded by Morris Sussal in the 1940s, which grew from the Harlem-Adler Company into the Lauber Novelty Button Company and supplied high-end garment manufacturers worldwide until closing in 2005. Deadstock, never used, and stored in original button boxes in a smoke-free home for roughly 30 years.
