Vintage 1970s Super Moon Explorer Battery Operated Robot No. 106 with Original Box

A terrific survivor from the golden age of space toys, this 1970s Super Moon Explorer battery operated robot (No. 106, Made in Hong Kong) comes complete with its original illustrated box. The colors are still bright and vivid, making it a standout piece for any vintage robot display.

Per the box, the Super Moon Explorer features Stop 'N Go action, a swing-open chest door, a blinking and shooting gun with realistic firing sound, and a rotating body. It runs on two 'D' cell batteries (not included).

Tucked away for roughly 50 years, the robot has never had batteries installed and remains untested, though there is no obvious reason it shouldn't work. The box shows some wear, small tears, and remnants of the original store price tag, and measures 12 x 6 x 5 1/2 inches.
