Vintage 1970s Medusa Face Shank Buttons, 3/4 inch - Set of 15
A set of 15 vintage 1970s shank buttons, each featuring a Medusa-style face at the center surrounded by a clear body with a silver and black metallic filigree perimeter. At approximately 3/4 inch across, they have a flat profile and a rich, antique look that dresses up jackets, coats, and statement garments.
These buttons come from the stock of Lauber Novelty Button Company, a premier New York City button house founded in the 1940s by Morris Sussal (originally the Harlem-Adler Company). The family business supplied high-end wholesale and branded clothing manufacturers worldwide until it closed in 2005. Stored in button boxes in a smoke-free home for 30-40 years, they remain in mint, unused condition.
Ideal for designers, garment makers, and crafters looking for a distinctive vintage detail. The same style is also available in 5/8 and 1/2 inch sizes, and purchases can be combined to save on shipping. All sales are final.
