A lot of 43 vintage 4-hole buttons in a warm yellow pearl iridescent plastic, made in the 1970s-80s. Each button measures a generous 1 3/4 inches across, making them a bold statement closure for coats, jackets, or a dramatic handmade piece. The iridescent mother-of-pearl style finish shifts in the light, and like natural shell, no two are exactly alike.

All 43 buttons are mint and unused, having been packed away in button boxes for more than 40 years in a smoke-free home. They come from a premier New York City button manufacturer founded in the 1940s by Morris Sussal, first as the Harlem-Adler Company and later Lauber Novelty Button Company, which supplied high-end wholesale customers and well-known garment makers from its showroom in the NYC garment district until closing in 2005.

These are first-to-market deadstock pieces and quantities are limited, with no more available in this style. Buttons ship carefully packed in bags, bubble wrap, and button boxes. Questions and additional photos welcome; all sales are final.
