Vintage 1970s-80s White Buttons with Black Crackle Veiling Design - Medium 7/8" - Lot of 10

A lot of 10 vintage white buttons finished with a striking black crackle web pattern created using the classic Veiling (Vailing) technique. Each button measures a medium 7/8" across with a simple two-hole design, making them easy to sew onto coats, blouses, cardigans and handmade garments.

These are new, unused deadstock from the late 1970s to early 1980s, acquired directly from the original manufacturer. They come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection - a family business that supplied and customized buttons for high-end New York garment makers from the 1960s until 2005. Many designs in this collection are exclusive to us, and this style is offered in four sizes on our site.
