Vintage 1970s-80s White & Black Crackle Veiling Buttons - Medium 7/8" (Lot of 10)

A lot of 10 vintage sew-through buttons in crisp white with a dramatic black crackle web pattern, achieved using the classic veiling technique. Each two-hole button measures 7/8" across — the medium size in this series — and all ten are new, unused deadstock that has never been sewn onto a garment.

These buttons come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection, a New York City garment-center business that supplied and customized buttons for high-end manufacturers from the 1960s until the shop closed in 2005. Everything in this stash was manufactured before 1985, with many pieces dating to the 1960s and 70s, and a number of designs are exclusive to Dave's Discovery Den.

Ideal for coats, cardigans and dressmaking projects, or for crafters who repurpose vintage buttons into pendants, bracelets and earrings. Multiple lots can be combined, and three other sizes of this same button are available on our site.
