Vintage 1970s-80s White & Black Crackle Veiling Buttons - Medium 7/8" (Lot of 10)

A lot of ten vintage white buttons decorated with a striking black crackle web pattern, produced with the classic veiling (vailing) technique. These are the medium size at 7/8" in diameter, with a simple two-hole design that works beautifully on coats, blazers, blouses and handmade garments.

Dating to the late 1970s through the early 1980s, these buttons come straight from the original manufacturer's stock. The Sussal family ran the Harlem Adler Button Company and later the Lauber Novelty Button Company in the NYC garment center, supplying and customizing buttons for high-end makers until the business closed in 2005. Everything in this collection was produced before 1985, and many designs are exclusive to us.
