Vintage 1970s-80s White & Black Crackle Veiling Buttons - Medium 7/8" - Lot of 10

A lot of 10 vintage white two-hole buttons decorated with a striking black crackle web pattern, created using the classic Veiling (Vailing) technique. These are the medium size at 7/8" in diameter, and each one carries the hand-finished character you only find in older American button production.

This is genuine new old stock, purchased directly from the original manufacturer. The buttons come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection, a family business founded in the NYC garment center that supplied and customized buttons for high-end manufacturers. Everything in this collection was made before 1985, with many pieces dating to the 1960s and 1970s, and many designs are exclusive to Dave's Discovery Den.
