Vintage 1970s-80s White & Black Crackle Veiling Buttons - Extra Large 1 3/4" (Lot of 10)
A lot of 10 extra-large vintage buttons in crisp white with a striking black crackle web pattern, achieved through the classic veiling technique. Each button measures a generous 1 3/4" across with a two-hole center, making them a bold statement closure for coats, jackets, and statement garments.
These come from a remarkable New York City button archive: deadstock sourced directly from the Lauber Novelty Button Company, a garment-center institution founded by Morris Sussal and later run by his sons until 2005. Everything in this collection was manufactured before 1985, with many designs dating to the 1960s and 1970s and unavailable anywhere else.
Unused vintage deadstock in excellent condition. Crafters love repurposing these into pendants, bracelets, and earrings. Multiple lots can be combined, and this design is offered in four sizes on the site. Please ask questions or request more photos before purchase, as all sales are final.
