Dating to the late 1970s through early 1980s, these are unused deadstock acquired directly from the original manufacturer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThey come from the Lauber Novelty Button Company collection, founded by Morris Sussal, a longtime NYC garment-center button dealer whose family business supplied and custom-produced buttons for high-end manufacturers until closing in 2005. Every button in the collection was made before 1985, and many designs are exclusive to Dave's Discovery Den and limited in number.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA favorite with sewists and crafters, these buttons also repurpose beautifully into pendants, bracelets and earrings.
