Vintage 1960s GE Show 'N Tell Picturesound Programs - Green Children's Classics Set (4 pcs)

A charming set of four green-label GE Show 'N Tell Picturesound programs from the 1960s, drawn from the beloved Children's Classics series. Titles include Robinson Crusoe (ST-129), Huckleberry Finn (ST-130) and Black Beauty (ST-109), plus a bonus duplicate Huckleberry Hound program.

Each program pairs a 7-inch 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record with a 16mm plastic filmstrip slide key, made for the General Electric Show and Tell phono-viewer introduced in 1964. As the record played, the viewer's gear advanced the 15-image strip so the pictures matched the narration — an early multimedia storytime experience. GE released more than 140 programs covering fairy tales, cartoons, classic literature, science and space.

Condition is very good to excellent for their age, with light shelf wear to the sleeves as shown in the photos. A nostalgic display piece or a genuinely fun find for collectors who still have a working phono-viewer.
