Vintage 1960s Dunham "Indian War Paint" Make-Up Kit on Original Card
A genuinely scarce piece of 1960s five-and-dime nostalgia: a Thomas C. Dunham Products (Yonkers, NY) "Indian War Paint" make-up kit, still attached to its original 10-cent display card. The bright card artwork is intact and the set retains its original paint pot along with both applicator sticks in red and black.
The packaging notes the paint as non-toxic, easy to apply, easy to remove, and made with lanolin - typical of the dress-up novelties sold to kids at the corner store. Unopened carded toys from this era rarely survive, which makes this one a fun conversation piece for a vintage toy shelf or a framed display.
Condition is honest for its age: the card shows creasing, staining, edge wear and toning, and the reverse has browned with some spotting. Sold as-is as a collectible display piece. Please ask any questions before purchasing - no returns on vintage toys. Carefully wrapped and protected for shipping.
