Vintage 1950s-60s Plastic Rooster Charm - Cracker Jack / Gumball Penny Toy (Set of 2)

A charming pair of vintage plastic rooster charms dating to the 1950s-60s, the golden age of the penny toy. Tiny prizes like these were handed out in gumball machines and tucked into Cracker Jack boxes, and each one features a molded rooster shape with a hanging loop for a charm bracelet, necklace, or keychain.

The pictured example is a translucent green molded rooster, shown next to a penny so you can judge just how small and delightful it is. These came out of a large collection that sat carefully stored for more than 35 years in a climate-controlled, smoke-free home, so they have held up beautifully for their age.
