Towle Cordova Sterling Silver Sauce Ladle (1902 Pattern)

A lovely antique sterling silver sauce ladle by Towle in the sought-after Cordova pattern, first introduced in 1902. The handle features the pattern's signature beaded border with delicate shell and scroll detailing, and the graceful bowl makes it as practical at the table as it is beautiful in a collection.

Marked "Sterling, 925/1000" with a faint Towle trademark on the center back of the handle. There are no monograms, making it easy to blend into an existing set or start a new one. It measures approximately 5 7/8" long with a bowl about 1 3/4" wide and weighs roughly 25 grams.

Condition is excellent with no flaws and little to no wear. The ladle has been left tarnished and unpolished, as many collectors prefer the original patina — a quick polish will bring back a bright shine if you'd rather. Please review all photos and ask any questions; all sales are final.
