Solid Copper French Cannel Molds - Set of 2

A pair of solid copper cannel molds with traditional tin-lined interiors, the classic French bakeware used for cannel de Bordeaux, cupcakes, and other small cakes. Copper's superior heat conduction is exactly why pastry kitchens in France, Italy, and Turkey have relied on molds like these for generations.

Each mold measures about 5.5 cm (2 1/4 in) across and 5 cm (2 in) tall, with a substantial 1.1 mm wall thickness and a weight of roughly 56 grams. Sold as a set of two.

In good used condition: the copper exteriors show a light patina and some surface marks from honest kitchen use, while the tin linings are intact and ready to bake with. Handsome enough to hang on display, sturdy enough to keep working.
