Signed Maple Burl Live Edge Turned Wood Bowl - 18" Artisan Piece

A striking hand-turned bowl crafted from figured maple burl, with a natural live edge that follows the tree's original contour. The swirling burl grain is brought out by a glossy hand-rubbed finish, making every angle of this piece unique.

Signed on the underside by the artisan — the signature appears to read "Favors" (or possibly "Gavors") — along with the notation "Maple Burl." It measures roughly 18" x 13" x 3 1/2" high and has been in the same collection since the mid-1980s, displayed on a lodge table for years before being carefully packed away in 2010.

Condition is excellent, presenting as like new. A genuine one-of-a-kind decorative statement for a cabin, lodge, dining table, or a woodturning collector's shelf.
