A beautiful example of 1930s American Depression glass, this Anchor Hocking Block Optic butter dish shows off the classic ribbed pattern in a rich, glowing green. The domed cover is embossed with the word "BUTTER" across the top, a charming detail collectors look for.

The dish measures roughly 5 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches across and stands about 2 3/4 inches tall. As originally produced, the top and bottom differ slightly by design.
