Mechanix T.E.X. RU4AI Animated Robot 1998 Everbright Toys - 12" Figure in Box

A great piece of late-90s robot nostalgia: the Mechanix T.E.X. (Test and EXperimental) RU4AI animated robot from Everbright Toys, released in 1998 under item no. 98888. Standing roughly 12" tall and built from ABS and PVC with working electronics, T.E.X. features a record-and-playback function that stores a personal message of about 20 to 30 words.

This example is in like-new condition and comes in its original box with instructions. The box was opened only to remove the batteries, so the figure itself displays beautifully. The packaging shows honest shelf wear including price sticker residue on the back, minor creasing and edge wear, and slight separation of the acetate window at the front bottom right corner.

A fun display piece for vintage robot collectors and anyone who grew up with talking toys. Please review all photos for condition details.
