LSA International Hand-Blown Striped Glass Tumbler / Vase - Poland

A striking hand-blown glass tumbler (or petite bud vase) from LSA International, made in Poland. Solid coloured glass rods in blue, green, and black are fused into the molten gather and blown into a mould, stretching the stripes into a lively, organic pattern inspired by traditional Polish Łowicki folk textiles.

Measuring roughly 4 1/2 inches high by 3 inches in diameter, it works equally well as a drinking glass, a candle holder, or a small vase for cut stems. Each piece is mouth-blown, so the pattern varies slightly from example to example.

New and unused, still carrying its original LSA International label. Companion pieces in the same collection include a bowl, container, carafe, vase, and domed cover on an ash base.
