Longaberger 1996 Darning Basket with Garden Splendor Fabric Liner & Plastic Protector

A lovely 1996 Longaberger darning basket, handwoven from maple in Dresden, Ohio, and signed and dated on the bottom by the artisan who made it. Two leather swing handles and a band of green accent weaving give it that classic Longaberger look, and it measures roughly 10" across by 4 1/2" tall.

This one comes complete with both its fitted plastic protector and the coordinating Garden Splendor fabric liner, which is often the hard part to find. It was purchased and stored away by a former Longaberger sales consultant and was never actually used, so it presents in essentially mint shape aside from one tiny manufacturing flaw on the underside (pictured).
