Antique J.P. Limoges France Porcelain Asparagus Serving Platter c.1890-1910

A rare and beautiful find: an antique Jean Pouyat (J.P. L.) Limoges France white porcelain oval serving dish, measuring 12 x 8 1/4 inches. Raised asparagus motifs decorate both ends, highlighted with an unusual added green wash over gold, with bright gold detailing running all the way around the rim.

The reverse carries the J.P. L / France backstamp, dating this piece to roughly 1890-1910. It shows only very light wear consistent with its age, with no chips or cracks, and the gilding remains crisp and lustrous.
