Antique Early 1900s Apothecary Pharmacy Bottle with Stopper - "OL: ANISI" Gold Gilt Label
A genuine early 1900s apothecary bottle that once lived behind a pharmacy counter, complete with its original matching glass stopper. The front carries the Latin label "OL: ANISI" (oil of anise) in gold gilt lettering framed by a red and black banded border, all still crisp and legible after more than a century.
The bottle stands 6 inches tall and measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter at the base, with no maker's marks on the underside. Condition is very good for its age with no noted damage, though it is quite dirty from over 50 years in storage and retains some old residue inside. We're happy to wash the bottle and stopper before shipping if you prefer.
A wonderful display piece for a collector of pharmacy antiques, a curiosity cabinet, or a bit of authentic vintage character on a shelf or bar cart.
