Antique Apothecary Bottle with Glass Stopper - Recessed Label 'Tinct: Scillae' - D.A. Alexander, Dundee

A rare survivor from a Scottish chemist's shelf, this handblown apothecary bottle carries a recessed front label reading Tinct: Scillae (tincture of squill), framed in bright gold gilding that remains remarkably crisp. The original matching glass stopper is included.

The reverse still holds the original paper chemist's label: D. A. Alexander, Chemist & Optician, 1 Alpin Rd., Dundee. The bottle stands approximately 8 inches tall with a 3-inch base, and has been in storage for more than half a century, so light dust and interior residue are present exactly as pictured.
