19th Century Antique Apothecary Pharmacy Bottle - "Ol. Amygdal" Label, JJ Insignia
A genuine 19th century apothecary bottle from an old-time pharmacy shelf, featuring a beautiful under-glass label with a gilt frame reading "OL. AMYGDAL" — oil of almond. The clear glass body has a wide flared neck and carries a JJ insignia embossed on the base.
Measuring roughly 7 1/4" x 3", the bottle displays wonderfully alongside other druggist glass or on its own as a bit of medical history. No stopper is included. The interior has been left unwashed to preserve the patina of age and use, and there is some dirt and residue around the gold label; the exterior will be cleaned of any chemical residue before shipping.
A characterful collectible for anyone drawn to antique pharmacy, chemistry, or Victorian glass. Please review all photos and ask any questions — many more pharmacy bottles are available.
