1990 Longaberger Square Pie Basket with Stationary Handle - Shades of Autumn

A beautifully preserved 1990 Longaberger Square Pie Basket with a stationary handle, woven in the warm Shades of Autumn colorway. Measuring roughly 12 x 12 inches, it's the perfect size for a pie plate, bread, table linens, or as a handsome catch-all on a counter or entry table.

Handwoven from maple in Dresden, Ohio, and signed and dated on the bottom "CGS 1990" by the artisan who made it. The weaving is still tight, the handle is solid, and the wood has developed a lovely natural patina with no damage noted, it presents like new.

Longaberger baskets, made by the family company founded in 1973, are long-time favorites with collectors and have shown up as set decoration on shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, Friends, and Young Sheldon. Early dated examples like this one are increasingly hard to find in this condition.
