1957 Popeye Thimble Theatre Sunday Comic Strips - Lot of 15 (Tom Sims & Bill Zaboly)

A scarce lot of 15 original 1957 Sunday newspaper comic strips featuring Popeye in Thimble Theatre, drawn by Tom Sims and Bill Zaboly. These full-color Sunday pages capture the spinach-loving sailor at his mid-century best, including the classic "I Yam what I Yam" gag that made him a household name.

All 15 strips are in Fine condition — flat, bright, and remarkably well preserved for nearly 70 years. Each has been kept in a protective sleeve in climate-controlled, smoke-free storage, making them ideal for framing, archiving, or adding depth to an existing comic strip collection.

This lot comes from a large Popeye collection being listed over the coming months, so check back for more. Multiple purchases can be combined into a single shipment to reduce freight costs, and everything is packed carefully for safe arrival. Detailed photos are provided and all questions are answered promptly.
